Custom made for Nantucket Tea Company, resembles the types of teas produced during a second part of nineteen century. Beautiful coppery red in color - fully oxidized organic tea.

Contains: 1.5 Oz of lose leaf organic 100% black tea from Kyushu Island, Japan.

Quite rare, high quality black tea mirroring techniques used in second part of nineteenth century. Earthy character, rich in spiciness and at the same time elegant black tea with distinctive Japanese flavor profile.

Perfect for mid summer afternoons or sunny après-skis lounging.

Tasting profile: full bodied with medium astringency yet mild sweetness, elegant earthy notes and tones of sun heated cedar wood.

Imagine snow melting off rusty wooden chalet walls or a warm summer sun dried Nantucket cedar shingles.

Perfect brew: steep 2 grams (one pinch) of tea per 7 fl. oz. of fresh water at 210*F for 3 minutes. Stain. Enjoy.

Could be re-steeped few times.

We would pair it with shortbread cookies and whipped cream, club sandwiches and barbecue charcuterie or buttery lobster bites.
